GE Vernova Shares Dip Following Release of Latest Quarterly Results

GE Vernova (NYSE: GEV), which began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, has released its financial report for the second quarter of 2026.

Despite the company reporting quarterly revenue of $11.1 billion, its stock price experienced a decline of more than 7% at one point during the trading session.

Chief Executive Officer Scott Strazik stated in the earnings release, "With a $176 billion backlog, we are delivering revenue growth, margin expansion, and significant free cash flow. GE Vernova's momentum continues, and we are raising our full-year 2026 financial guidance."

The company now anticipates full-year revenue to be in the range of $45.5 billion to $46.5 billion. The financial report indicated that overall new orders for GE Vernova surged by 88% to $24.2 billion, driven by robust growth in its Electrification and Power businesses.

The company expects demand for its Electrification segment to continue its upward trajectory. Year-to-date orders related to data centers have surpassed $5 billion, more than doubling the total for the full year 2025.
