On the evening of September 22, at the opening ceremony of the 48th WorldSkills Competition, 19 H2 humanoid robots from Unitree Robotics danced alongside 120 performers, marking the global debut of a full-size general-purpose humanoid robot swarm performance driven entirely by AI.

The robots did not rely on external positioning base stations. Instead, they used onboard LiDAR for environmental perception and centimeter-level autonomous positioning.

Through a self-developed swarm coordination and scheduling system, the 19 robots achieved millisecond-level synchronized movements. The dance motions were generated by reinforcement learning algorithms, allowing the robots to move in sync with the music's rhythm.

The entire system features autonomous error correction. When external factors such as stage lighting or human movement caused positional deviations, each robot could independently detect the offset and automatically correct its position back to the designated spot.
