Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited have taken no responsibility for the contents of a recent announcement by New Times Corporation Limited (the Company) regarding a waiver from strict compliance with Rule 14.41(a) of the Listing Rules. The Company, listed under stock code 00166, originally disclosed on 24 July 2025 a proposed disposal of shares in a subsidiary. Subsequent announcements on 14 August, 22 August, and 13 October 2025 reported delays in dispatching the related circular.

Additional time is required for preparing the Company’s financial information, including statements of indebtedness and sufficiency of working capital. On 30 October 2025, the Stock Exchange granted the requested waiver to extend the dispatch deadline, provided the circular is sent to shareholders on or before 14 November 2025.
