CapitaLand Ascott Trust issues 5.01 million stapled securities to pay management fees

CapitaLand Ascott Trust (CLAS) said on Nov, 7 2025 that its managers have issued a total of 5.01 million stapled securities to Somerset Capital Pte Ltd as partial payment of management fees for the period from Jul, 1 2025 to Sep, 30 2025.

The securities were issued at 0.9219 Singapore dollars each. Of the total, 4.33 million units relate to the base fee of CapitaLand Ascott Real Estate Investment Trust, while 0.68 million units cover the base and performance fees of CapitaLand Ascott Business Trust.

Following the transaction, the number of stapled securities in issue rose to 3.83 billion. The direct holdings of the REIT manager and the trustee-manager remain unchanged at 11.21 million units and 1.10 million units, respectively, but CapitaLand Investment Limited’s aggregate interest in the stapled group increased to 24.70% from 24.60%.
