Nam Lee Pressed Metal Industries Limited said on Jan, 7 2026 that a Business Times report published on Jan, 5 2026 combined information from its announcements of Jan, 3 2026 and Oct, 31 2025, which could mislead shareholders ahead of the extraordinary general meeting on Jan, 9 2026.

The company stated that its board has not raised any concerns about the independence, decision-making or oversight responsibilities of Chairman cum Executive Director Yong Li Yuen, Joanna in connection with whistleblowing allegations or internal control matters.

Nam Lee added that it has never received formal or informal concerns from the requisitioning shareholders about Yong’s directorship and urged investors to review the latest clarification and exercise caution when dealing in its shares.
