Kunlun Energy executes HK$66.43 million share buyback; 8.91 million shares pending cancellation

Kunlun Energy Company Limited disclosed to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it repurchased a total of 8.91 million ordinary shares between 25 March and 21 April 2026. All shares were bought on-market for subsequent cancellation, leaving the company’s issued share capital temporarily unchanged at 8.66 billion shares until the cancellations are completed. No treasury shares were held at the reporting date.

The aggregate consideration for the buybacks was HK$66.43 million, translating to a volume-weighted average price of HK$7.47 per share. The latest transaction, completed on 21 April 2026, involved 60,000 shares purchased at prices ranging from HK$7.57 to HK$7.59, costing HK$0.46 million.

The 8.91 million shares repurchased to date represent approximately 0.10 % of the company’s issued share capital and utilise roughly 1.03 % of the 865.88 million-share repurchase mandate approved on 29 May 2025. Under Hong Kong Listing Rules, Kunlun Energy is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or transferring any treasury shares until 21 May 2026.
