As the National Day holiday enters its fifth day and the latter half of the break, many people are already starting their return journeys early.
Traffic management authorities forecast that starting today, a peak in return traffic will appear on the routes into Beijing, with the most concentrated flow of vehicles heading back to the capital during the afternoon hours.
Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station, Beijing Railway Station, Beijing North Railway Station, Capital International Airport, Daxing International Airport and other hubs will also usher in peak return passenger flows during the holiday.
According to a dynamic assessment by the Ministry of Transport, on October 5 there will be 36 sections of national expressways prone to congestion nationwide, mainly concentrated in Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, Guangdong and other provinces.
If you plan to pass through these sections, please arrange your travel time and route reasonably.

Return travel safety tips: driving safety
Before setting out on a self-driving trip, pay attention to the weather and make good plans, stay alert to rain, snow and patchy fog, and drive in a standardized manner.
Please keep this holiday return safety reminder handy.
Special reminder
"Smart driving" is absolutely not "autonomous driving." When "smart driving" is activated, you must keep both hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road at all times. It is strictly forbidden to take your hands off the wheel, look away, or let yourself be distracted or fall asleep.
Special reminder
In autumn, some expressway sections are prone to patchy fog. When driving in foggy weather, be sure to remember to "reduce speed, control distance, and turn on lights."
Return travel safety tips: risk prevention at stations, airports and other venues

At the same time, as stations and airports are densely populated places, what other risks should you guard against? What should you do in an emergency? Please keep this safety guide handy.
