Ultraviolette has showcased a new voice-based AI assistant on its F77 electric motorcycle at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. Called ‘Violette’, the system has been developed in partnership with SoundHound AI and allows riders to interact with the motorcycle using simple voice commands.

Shares of SoundHound AI soared 7% in premarket trading.

During the demonstration, visitors could activate riding modes, start navigation and even access the digital user manual by using the wake phrase “Violette”. The system could answer practical queries such as recommended tyre pressure, service-related instructions and how-to guides.

Ultraviolette also highlighted more advanced features like pre-ride checks, ride statistics, proactive alerts and service reminders, all of which can be accessed without touching the bike or looking away from the road.

According to Ultraviolette, the idea behind Violette is to enhance safety and ease of use by reducing rider distraction. The company believes AI will play a key role in the future of two-wheelers, especially when it comes to keeping riders informed while allowing them to stay focused on riding. The system is designed to work through an audio-integrated helmet, which acts as the interface between the rider and the motorcycle.

It will be interesting to see how soon does UV manage to introduce the technology in production bikes.
