Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced on Wednesday that it expects to begin mass-producing chips for Tesla Motors at its Texas-based facility starting in the second half of next year. The statement was made by Choi Si-young, head of Samsung’s foundry business, during the company’s annual shareholders meeting.
