China New Economy Fund Limited held its Extraordinary General Meeting on 24 October 2025, with a total of 1,319,700,274 issued shares eligible to vote. According to the poll results, 708,316,881 shares (100%) voted in favor of a special resolution to change the English name of the company from “China New Economy Fund Limited” to “CAI Corp,” and to adopt “CAI控股” as the new Chinese name.

The proposed name change is subject to final approval by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands, effective upon the issuance of a certificate of incorporation on change of name. Afterward, the company will complete the required registration procedures in Hong Kong. Further announcements regarding the effective date of the change and the new stock short names on the Stock Exchange will be released as appropriate.
