BBX Minerals (BBX) has reported continuous mineralisation at its Tabocal prospect within the Três Estados project in Brazil.
The results come from BBX’s 2020-2021 drilling program. The company undertook diamond drilling at the project, from which assays were conducted for gold, platinum, palladium, iridium and rhodium.
Platinum mineralisation was intersected over almost the entire length of the hole.
Meanwhile, BBX said it encountered a zone of continuous iridium mineralisation from 40 metres to the end of the hole at 55.02 metres.
BBX said the strong mineralisation encountered had continued to enhance the potential of the Tabocal prospect, 2.5 kilometres east of the Adelar zone in the project area. This remains open at depth.
Other results from the diamond hole included two metres at 1.3 grams per tonne (g/t) platinum group metals (PGM) from nine metres and 17 metres at 1.32 g/t PGM from 15 metres.
Further results included two metres at 1.39 g/t PGM from 36 meters and 1.5 meters at 1.77 g.t PGM from 44 metres.
BBX Minerals was up 1.45 per cent and trading at 7 cents at 1:42 pm AEST.
