MCF Energy Shares Jump on 2H Drilling Schedule

MCF Energy Ltd. shares were higher Monday morning after the natural gas company said that it anticipates drilling wells in Austria and Germany as early as the third quarter of this year.

Shares in the company have soared over the last 12 months, and more than doubled in 2023 so far. At 9:54 a.m. ET, shares were trading in Toronto at C$0.52, up 7.2%.

As a result, MCF anticipates drilling "high-impact" exploration wells in both countries in the third and fourth quarters.
