Apollo Medical Holdings co-founder Thomas Lam has retired as president and co-chief executive of the healthcare-management company and will now serve as vice chairman.

Apollo on Wednesday said Brandon Sim, who had been co-CEO, is now president and CEO of the Alhambra, Calif., company.

Apollo also said its chief financial officer, Chan Basho, has taken on the additional post of chief operating officer.

The executive changes come as Apollo unveiled plans to change its name to Astrana Health.

The company said the name change, along with the new stock symbol ASTH, will be effective Feb. 26.
