Union Optech's Unit Lands 216 Million Yuan FAW Group Order

Union Optech's (SHE:300691) unit, Zhongshan United Automotive Technology, received an order to supply equipment for China FAW Group's automobiles for 216 million yuan, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

The products include rear left- and right-corner millimeter-wave radars.

The Chinese optical products company's unit will begin the production and supply of the products in April 2025.

FAW Group is the parent company of truckmaker FAW Jiefang (SHE:000800).

Shares of the company slipped more than 1% at the close.
