Dataprep, Neoreka Asia Forge ICT Partnership; Shares Slump 6%

Dataprep (KLSE:DATAPRP) inked a memorandum of collaboration with NEOJAPAN's (TYO:3921) unit Neoreka Asia, according to a Malaysian bourse filing.

Under the tie-up, both companies will partner in the ICT field, with Neoreka becoming an authorized reseller of DESKNET'S NEO, a web-based platform for enterprise information sharing.

The arrangement will be effective for three years, effective Sept. 10.

Shares of the Malaysian firm dropped about 6% recently.
