HNR Acquisition (HNRA) said Wednesday that it has changed its name and ticker symbol to EON Resources (EONR) with the change being effective from the market open.

The company said the name change is intended to reflect its conversion from a special purpose acquisition to an operating oil production company.

Shares of the company were up almost 1% in recent premarket activity.
