4DS Memory's (ASX:4DS) contractor, imec, completed and shipped the fifth platform lot to the semiconductor firm's facility in Fremont, California, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The lot will be evaluated upon receipt, with interim results expected in the mid-fourth quarter, the filing said.

Shares of 4DS Memory jumped almost 8% at market close.
