Metallurgical Corporation of China (SHA:601618, HKG:1618) or MCC signed new contracts worth 891.7 billion yuan from January to September, down 9.2% from the year-ago period, a Tuesday bourse filing said.
Of this, the value of newly signed overseas contracts rose by 85% year over year to 60.8 billion yuan.
In September alone, the construction engineering company signed eight new contracts with a value greater than 1 billion yuan.
Shares of the firm closed over 3% lower on Tuesday.
