The Straits Trading Launches SG$55 Million Multicurrency Commercial Paper Facility

The Straits Trading Company (SGX:S20) launched a new SG$55 million multicurrency multi-tranche unsecured commercial paper facility program, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.

The digital securities will be issued and listed on the digital platforms operated by the SDAX Exchange at an interest rate of 3.80% per year which matures three months from the date of issuance.

The company also launched its inaugural issue under the program, looking to raise between SG$5 million and SG$10 million under the three-month Series 001 SDAX issuance, the filing said.
