Silvaco Group (SVCO) shares sank 29% amid heavy trading after the company reported late Tuesday a cut in its 2024 sales guidance to $60 million to $63 million, from $63 million to $66 million previously.

More than 2.66 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of more than 380,000.

Penguin Solutions (PENG) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted profit and sales that trailed analysts' estimates late Tuesday.

Shares slumped 25%, with intraday trading volume at over 3.17 million compared with a daily average of more than 937,000.

Gritstone bio (GRTS) is in talks for funding and has held "some conversations" with potential bankruptcy plan sponsors, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing Debra Grassgreen, a legal representative for the firm.

Gritstone bio did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares fell 6.9%, with intraday trading volume at more than 41.6 million versus a daily average of over 13.6 million.
