Kuang-Chi Technologies (SHE:002625) plans to build the Zhuzhou 905 base project in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, China, according to a Monday disclosure on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The 905 Base, which will serve as a metamaterial research and development, production and testing center, will be built in two phases.
The auto parts manufacturer signed a cooperation agreement with the city's local government to be able to push through with the project.
Shares of the company soared 10% in recent trade.
