Midea Group (HKG:0300, SHE:000333) reported a net profit attributable to shareholders of 10.9 billion yuan in the third quarter of the year, up 15% from the prior year, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.

Earnings per share rose 12% year on year to 1.56 yuan.

The Chinese appliance company's operating revenue during the period was 101.7 billion yuan, climbing 8.1% from a year earlier, the filing said.

The company's Shenzhen shares slipped 1% in recent trade.
