Shares in Yangziijang closed at $2.55 on Nov 6, 65.58% higher year to date.

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has been added to the MSCI Singapore Index. The inclusion will take place as of the close of Nov 25.

The counter has had a good year with shares rising by some 65.58% year to date. As at Nov 6, shares in Yangziijang closed 5 cents higher or 2% up at $2.55.

For the 1HFY2024 ended June 30, Yangzijiang posted a record-high net profit of RMB3.06 billion ($564.9 million), 77.2% higher y-o-y.

Revenue increased by 15.3% y-o-y to RMB13 billion from higher shipbuilding activities and improved shipping charter rates.
