Kinetic Development (HKG:1277) subsidiary Ningxia Kinetic Mining's Yong'an coal mine started joint trial operations on Friday, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
The mine spans an area of 21.7 square kilometers, producing various types of coal such as 1/3 coking
coal and fat coal.
Yong'an contains coal resources of about 224.2 million square meters and a capacity of about 1.2 million metric tons annually, the filing said.
Yong'an is seen to enter full production in 2026.
