Nissin Foods (HKG:1475) is forming a joint venture firm with Nissin Asia in New South Wales, Australia, a Nov. 8 bourse filing said.
The JV company, proposed to be called Australia Nissin Foods will be 51% owned by the food manufacturer, which will contribute a little over AU$1 million, and 49% by Nissin Asia.
The JV firm will engage mainly in the import and sale of instant noodles, snacks, cereals, and other food products in Australia and New Zealand.
Nissin Asia is owned by Nissin Japan, which is the controlling shareholder of Nissin Foods.
