Charter Hall Retail REIT (ASX:CQR) increased its stake in Hotel Property Investment (ASX:HPI) to 26.92% from 26.65%, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
In a separate filing, the real estate investment trust said it is extending the off-market takeover to Dec. 3 from the previous Nov. 26 deadline.
Charter Hall Retail REIT's shares were up almost 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
