1733 ET - Bath & Body Works's positive commentary around a "normalization" should offer a breathe-out moment for the retailer, as its lighter quarterly gross margins shows it isn't out of the woods yet, BMO Capital Markets analyst Simeon Siegel says in a research note. This is especially important at a moment when management works to execute a strong holiday season for what BMO continues to believe remains an under-earnings and undervalued business, Siegel says. Shares closed up 17%, to $35.78. (sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
