Alpha Professional Holdings (HKG:0948) expects a net loss of about HK$27 million for the six months ended Sept. 30, compared with HK$33.7 million in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The company attributed the expected reduction in loss to the increased gross profit margins due to changes in milk powder and baby food brands, as well as income from expanded logistics and e-commerce operations.
The sellers and distributors of mobile handsets and their components plan to publish their interim results on Nov. 29.
