Nutriband (NTRB) said Wednesday it has received Hong Kong patent protection for its Aversa abuse-deterrence transdermal technology.
The company said it received a notice of publication of the registration and grant of a standard patent from the Hong Kong Intellectual Property Department for the technology.
The Aversa technology is now covered by patents issued in 46 countries and entities including the US, European Union, Japan, Korea, Russia, China, Canada, Mexico, and Australia.
The technology places aversive agents into transdermal patches to counteract the abuse of opioids and stimulants.
