Maximus (MMS) said late Tuesday it will continue to provide contact center operations services for 1-800-Medicare and Federal Marketplace after the US Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services cancelled an early re-procurement.
The re-procurement of the contract would have caused the company to recompete for the same scope of work it currently performs, Maximus said.
The company said its current contract has retained its available option periods until 2031.
