Consumer stocks were edging higher pre-bell Friday as the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) rose by 0.1% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) was up 0.4% recently.

Jeffs' Brands (JFBR) shares were up more than 11% after the company said Wellution, a wellness brand under its 49%-owned subsidiary SciSparc Nutraceuticals, received trademark registration for its non-medicated skincare and hair care products.

Miniso Group Holding (MNSO) shares were slightly up after the company reported higher Q3 adjusted earnings and revenue.

PDD's (PDD) Temu and its rival Shein are among the e-commerce site operators expanding further into the toy market in a bid to rake in sales from Black Friday shopping, Reuters reported. PDD shares were 0.3% higher premarket.
