Zurich Insurance Completes AIG Travel Acquisition

Zurich Insurance has completed its acquisition of American International Group's global personal travel insurance and assistance business.

The deal was announced in late June for $600 million, including a potential earnout payment.

The combined business makes Zurich Insurance one of the largest travel insurers in the world with more than 20 million customers annually, the company said.
