CEC International Holdings (HKG:0759) expects an after-tax loss of up to HK$30 million for the six months ended Oct. 31, compared with a profit of HK$300,000 a year ago.

The company, which operates the Hong Kong retail chain 759 Store, attributed the downbeat forecast to sluggish local consumption sentiment, according to a Thursday disclosure with the Hong Kong Exchange.
