** Sub-index tracks overnight losses in Wall Street peers, as investors anxiously await key inflation reports that could influence the Federal Reserve's rate decision next week .N

** AXIJ down for four straight sessions

** ASX-listed shares of Block SQ2.AX and Enterprise software provider TechnologyOne TNE.AX drop as much as 1.3% each

** Logistics and accounting software providers Wisetech Global WTC.AX and Xero XRO.AX top losses on the sub-index

** Sub-index up ~50% this year, as of last close
