BrainChip Holdings (ASX:BRN) secured a $1.8 million contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory for the use of its neuromorphic radar signaling processing technology, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The contract award was granted under the US Federal Government's Small Business Innovation Research program, the filing said.

Company shares rallied almost 14% in recent Tuesday trade.
