Beijing VRV Software (SHE:300352) will collaborate with an agency under China's culture and tourism ministry to use its simultaneous interpretation software for tourism services, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

The tie-up is valid for three years, the filing said.

The China-Foreign Cultural Exchange Center, under the ministry, will roll out VRV's AITran simultaneous translation software during tourism events.

AITran helps translate into 100 languages simultaneously, helping tourists with different scenarios while ensuring the security and safety of communication and data. It also helps facilitate cross-border communication in one's native language using a smartphone, the filing said.

Shares closed 8% lower during Monday's trading.
