Crisil (NSE:CRISIL, BOM:500092) has agreed to acquire a 4.08% stake in digital credit infrastructure company Online PSB Loans for 332.5 million Indian rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The investment is expected to provide Crisil with opportunities to partner with Online PSB in areas related to micro, small and medium enterprises and the agriculture sector.
The transaction, subject to negotiating the definitive shareholders' agreement, is expected to be completed within 45 days of executing the agreement.
