Capital One Financial (COF) said Thursday that it has received approval from the Office of the Delaware State Bank Commissioner to complete its acquisition of Discover Financial Services (DFS) and its Discover Bank subsidiary.
Capital One said it expects the deal to close in early 2025, pending approval by each company's shareholders, as well as other closing conditions.
