Fenix Resources' (ASX:FEX) Newhaul logistics business has hauled six million dry metric tonnes (dmt) of iron ore from its operations in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
This triggered the issue of 20 million fully paid ordinary shares in Fenix to entities controlled by Newhaul founder Craig Mitchell, the filing said. It is part of the payment milestones agreed upon when the mining services company acquired Newhaul in July 2022.
Another 20 million Fenix shares will be issued upon hauling 10 million dmt, the filing said.
