Talius Group (ASX:TAL) will raise AU$2.5 million through the placement of around 286.1 million shares with Stephen Norris Technologies at AU$0.009 apiece, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Proceeds will be used to expand the Talius platform and scale up the Home Care vertical, the aged care technology firm said in the filing.

Talius Group's shares surged 25% at market close Tuesday.
