Australian Computer Scientist Craig Wright Found in Contempt by UK High Court

Craig Wright, an Australian computer scientist who has previously asserted himself as Bitcoin’s enigmatic founder, Satoshi Nakamoto, has been declared in contempt of court by the UK’s High Court.

Justice James Mellor determined that Wright violated a March court order that barred him from initiating or threatening any legal proceedings related to Bitcoin. As a result, Wright received a suspended 12-month prison sentence, which will be activated if he breaches the order within the next two years.

Montenegro Court Rejects Do Kwon’s Extradition Appeal

Montenegro’s Constitutional Court has dismissed the appeal filed by Do Kwon, the founder of the cryptocurrency firm Terraform Labs, thereby upholding the decision to extradite him to the United States.

This ruling comes amidst simultaneous extradition requests from South Korea, where Kwon is also wanted for alleged financial misconduct related to the collapse of the TerraUSD (UST) stablecoin.
