Huafon Chemical (SHE:002064) commenced production at its adipic acid plant after its phase VI expansion project, according to a Shenzhen Stock Exchange disclosure on Wednesday.

The plant, constructed through the Chinese chemical producer's unit, Huafeng Chongqing Chemical, will produce 1.2 million tons of adipic acid every year, the disclosure said.
