LiveWire Group's (LVWR) LiveWire EV subsidiary has signed a master services agreement with Harley-Davidson (HOG), effective Jan. 1, according to a regulatory filing Thursday.
The agreement, with an initial term of seven years, covers a range of services that LiveWire deemed to be better outsourced, including testing and development, regulatory support, data privacy and security, human resources, supply chain management, and customer and dealer support, the filing said.
LiveWire said either party can terminate the agreement for material breaches or specific conditions, such as a change of control at LiveWire or failure to meet manufacturing commitments.
LiveWire added that it will own most of the intellectual property rights in the deliverables and will have a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use Harley-Davidson's background intellectual property.
