Sojitz (TYO:2768) resolved to establish a special purpose company (SPC) on Dec. 25, which is expected to become a specified subsidiary of the company, according to a Wednesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The SPC will focus on investments in the energy and infrastructure sectors, with an estimated investment of 23 billion yen. The investment is set to take place in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2026.
