The Canadian dollar was unchanged against the greenback on Monday, and the yield on benchmark government debt slipped. The loonie was trading is unchanged at C$1.4407 to the greenback, or 69.41 U.S. cents, after trading in a range of 1.4374 to 1.4416. Canadian government 10-year bond yields fell 5.4 basis points to 3.262%. The yield on similar U.S. government benchmark debt fell to 4.5568%. U.S. February crude futures rose 41 cents to $71.01 a barrel on Monday.
