Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) raised AU$580,000 following the completion of its share purchase plan, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The mineral explorer will issue nearly 1.7 million new shares Tuesday as part of the capital raise.

The share purchase plan follows the company's AU$15 million share placement in November.
