China's initiative to replace foreign software has led Kingsoft's (HKG:3888) WPS Office to surpass 100 million daily active users, according to SCMP news on Thursday.
Kingsoft Office Software reports that WPS, compatible with Microsoft Office, is now used on over 100 million devices in China each day, reported the news daily.
While Microsoft Office is still popular, increased cybersecurity concerns have driven WPS adoption in key sectors like government and finance, it added.
