Brazil's Eneva resumes normal gas supply to power plant Porto de Sergipe I

SAO PAULO, Jan 4 (Reuters) - Brazilian power firm Eneva

has resumed normal gas supplies to its Porto de Sergipe I thermoelectric plant after replacing part of a pipe that had affected gas flow for nearly three months.

A piping failure in early October halted the flow of gas between one of Eneva's floating storage and regasification vessels and an offshore pipeline, impacting natural gas supply to the plant and other assets.

In a securities filing late on Friday, Eneva said it had taken mitigating measures to comply with its contracts since then, including the use of an alternative supply route.
