Artemis Resources (ASX:ARV) completed the issue of 287 million tranche one shares from its recently announced placement, receiving funds totaling AU$2.1 million, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The issue of tranche two shares will be completed after shareholder approval is received at an extraordinary general meeting to be held by Feb. 6, 2025, the filing said.

Approval will also be sought for incoming director Julian Hanna to participate in the capital raise, which will amount to AU$20,000 or about 2.9 million shares, according to the filing.
