Nvidia $(NVDA)$: Chief Executive Jensen Huang unveiled a slew of new AI products at a consumer-electronics showcase in Las Vegas yesterday evening. Nvidia's shares rose about 1% in premarket trading, on track to extend Monday's rally. Chip stocks including Micron Technology $(MU)$ and Marvell Technology $(MRVL)$ also climbed.
Uber $(UBER)$: The ride-hailing company said late Monday it was working with Nvidia to develop autonomous-driving technology. Uber's shares climbed 3% premarket, poised to extend last session's gains.
Stryker $(SYK)$ and Inari Medical $(NARI)$: Stryker agreed to buy medical technology maker Inari in a deal worth $4.9 billion. Shares of Stryker fell 1% premarket, while Inari's stock jumped 20%.
Tencent (HK:700) and CATL (CN:300750): Shares of the Chinese companies fell after the Pentagon added them and others to a list of firms designated military in nature. WeChat owner Tencent fell 7.3% in Hong Kong, while Tesla battery supplier CATL fell 2.8% in mainland trading.
Cal-Maine Foods (CALM) is expected to report earnings after the close on Tuesday.
